The application period will open the first week of September and remain open for 45 days.

Baxter Recalls Heparin 1,000 Units/ml 10 and 30 ml Multi-Dose Vials EMSNP has received information from the FDA that Baxter has issued a voluntary recall on nine lots of heparin sodium injection 1000 units/ml 10 and 30 ml multi-dose vials. Baxter is doing a voluntary recall due to an increase in the number of reports of adverse patient reactions that may be associated with the product.
2008 National EMS Memorial Bike Ride - Schedule Announced Emergency Medical Services of Northeastern Pennsylvania Inc. has been notified that the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride will be traveling through Pennsylvania, on their way from New Jersey to Delaware, on Sunday May 18, 2008. Their travels will take them through Bucks, Philadelphia and Delaware Counties.

Lane Restrictions Likely - Work Begins on Harrison Ave. Bridge PennDOT District 4-0 will likely implement a single lane restriction sometime mid-week as preliminary repairs begin on the Harrison Avenue Bridge in the City of Scranton. When repairs begin, traffic will be restricted to one lane inbound.

Sometimes that injury is related to abuse. As a Pennsylvania First Responder, EMT or Paramedic it is your responsibility to report cases of suspected child abuse.
