The National EMS Memorial Bike Rides are back this year, re‐organized and better than ever! These inspirational bicycle rides begin in New York City, NY, or Lexington, KY and conclude seven days & 600+ miles later in Roanoke, VA, site of this year’s EMS memorial. The ride participants ride among the most beautiful & scenic countryside, as well as through the urban streets of New York City, Philadelphia, PA, and Washington DC. Enjoy fellowship and support others who have been impacted by the death of an EMS coworker. As you bike in honor of fallen EMS personnel you will be escorted, fed, supported and cheered by dedicated volunteers, EMS agencies and the public. Your participation will highlight the importance of providing death benefits to families, tracking EMS worker injuries and improving safety in this industry. The day after the ride, in Roanoke, the riders attend the National EMS Memorial Service to honor EMTs and Paramedics who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
